Definitely considering one. Although saving my money for a quest when they come out next year too!

Wireless VR technology is a gigantic advantage, but I think more people are gonna buy the Oculus Quest, right?

I guess it is a bit on the odd side yeah, but at the same time kind of cool

But I could ignore the design, while price + wireless combo wins.
For all of you planning to buy this - this is an adapter. Not a stand alone platform but an extension to be attached to original VIve headset. So no, it’s not more affordable than Quest.

Haha, I hear you! I love getting to see how things work (like the old clear purple gameboys ) so at first I thought seeing the IR sensors on the vive and wands was pretty neat, but after a while it just started to seem clunky. The lighter and sleeker designs for HMDs we’ve seen for Windows Mixed Reality and the Quest are definitely setting the bar for aesthetics as well as functionality! Here’s hoping the next year brings us gear that looks less like something Batman would use
