I just played the sweetest and shortest game ever and I think sweet and short games deserve their own thread
So - what’s the shortest but good game you’ve played?
Mine is Off-Peak. It’s a surreal wandering game - . you’re stuck at a train station and have to find your lost ticket. Whole game takes about 20 minutes, but even though it’s so short it’s still awesome.
It’s not a VR game, but I really enjoyed playing through Gone Home! I spent a little under 2 hours on my first playthrough just exploring the spooky atmosphere, getting to know the characters through their notes, and finding the hidden bits and bobs. That’s a bit longer than 20 minutes, but it still felt pretty quick compared to Skyrim or Bioshock
If I know I only have half an hour to play I’ll oftentimes open up FTL – the music is phenomenal and 20-30 minutes is plenty to either get to the last sector, or die trying (and having fun)
I think I have the shortest lol
A Stickman Reality, it’s cool cartoonish story, maybe 10 minutes long but still super fun
